Imagine if you could take a look inside yourself and get to see what only surgeons and scientists normally see. Imagine if you could be motivated enough into taking responsibility for the personal health choices that you make everyday. Well now you can with an international exhibition that allows you to have a deeper understanding of your body’s form and function and a stronger appreciation of the small changes to your lifestyle that can have a long-term effect on the uniqueness of your individual body.

‘The Body Show’ will provide you with the opportunity to see yourself inside out – literally! - right in the heart of Singapore at Clarke Quay. Being exhibited in Singapore for the first time, US based ‘The Body Show’ is a fascinating scientific exhibit of the human anatomy, consisting of actual preserved human bodies and specimens. It opens on 27 November 2009 and runs through to 22 February 2010.

Using a respectful preservation process known as Polymer Impregnation, actual preserved human specimens on display will give visitors the rare opportunity to gain an intimate understanding of their inner body by going ‘under the skin’ on a very personal level. Many of the fascinating specimens appear in vivid athletic poses, allowing the visitor to relate them to everyday activities and view the complexity and beauty of their own bodies and systems. The body exhibits are presented in an artful, compelling and dignified environment to be enjoyed by the inquisitive or by those with a thirst for knowledge.
